Description
Citric Acid is a commercial chemical, which occurs as colorless crystals or white granules. It is used to reduce ph and remove calcium when drilling cement .It as organic acid which is less reactive than sulfuric and hydrochloric acid. It very soluble in water, freely soluble in ethanol (96%) and sparingly soluble in ether.
Application
Citric acid is non-toxic and has a low reactivity, it is used to reduce ph and remove calcium when treating cement contamination. Citric Acid is slightly hygroscopic.
