Description:

Potassium sulfonated asphalt, manufactured by GDFCL, is a modified potassium sulfonated asphaltic compound. In potassium-rich environments, it is highly effective because it contributes water-soluble potassium to the mud system. Its versatile mud conditioner contributes to the stability of drilling fluids, stabilizes shale, inhibits dispersion of drilled solids, reduces torque and drag, controls high-temperature water loss, acts as an alternative to oil usage, etc., and aids in the emulsification of oil. It also provides K+ ions as required and is also known as sulfonated asphalt-K.

Application:

Potassium sulfonated asphalt is manufactured by GDFCL for shale control, fluid loss control, and improving the lubricity of all water systems at high temperatures and pressures (HTHP).
